Personal notes
This was a university assignment. We had to do an art guide of sorts about any game we chose. In my case, I picked Spiritfarer, as I was playing it at the time and I find its art style charming and approachable.
For the template, I took inspiration of the official art book and tried to make it as similar as possible, to keep some cohesion with the official game's art style.
Learning and analyzing the art and the design choices of the game made me appreciate it more. For example, I look at character designs differently, more fondly, as I now understand better their design and it's correlation with their story and personality.
